• Question: Why does Saturn have rings?

      There are a few theories on this – one being that the rocks of ice that make up Saturns rings used to be a moon that got ripped apart by the gravity of Saturn. Another theory is that the moon was smashed by a comet. Nobody really knows. Also the gaps in the rings are made by small moons that orbit Saturn itself
