      There are so many checks we do every day to stop the treatment from going wrong. Obviously in the past there have been huge radiation accidents which we learn from and improve our own practice. the most common accident in the UK is the patient being set up incorrectly. When this happens we can compensate by delivering more or less radiation on the next treatment day. The way we deliver radiotherapy, over weeks, allows us to do this
