There is no specific best way to kills cancer cells. It is something entirely dependent of the condition and stage of cancer in a patient. All the methods have their own pros and cons, so the oncologists decide the best course of action for each patient case by case. Some of the treatments can have long terms effects as the treatment may cause damage to peripheral organs / physiologic functions. The benefit vs risk ratio for every patient is analysed and treatment is chosen.

There are 4 main ways, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy or nuclear injections. The doctors weigh up the pros and cons of each before they decide whats best for the patient. Radiation can be very harmful for your health if its not aimed at the right spot, which is why its important to get it right in the first place!
