• Question: what is CERN? i do not know what that means?

      CERN is a world famous research institution. It is the European Laboratory for Particle Physics. They have huge underground particle accelerators, including the large hadron collider which is kilometres in diameter. A lot of research goes on there and it is where the believe to have found the elusive Higgs Boson. In Dan Brown’s book Angels and Demons the antimatter particle threatening to recreate a mini “big bang” by imploding was created in CERN (fiction though….) You should look it up!

      Its a big place to do research in particle /nuclear physics field…… Its located by the french/swiss border and thats where the higgs bosons were discovered……..you will get to know more about it when u grow old and need to know.
