      You will need all A* and very good extra curricular profile which shows overall development to get into a school to become a surgeon

      I’m not sure but I imagine medical school would be more interested in your A-level grades rather than GCSEs

      I agree with Jim, and choose your subjects wisely, sciences and maths are very important, but they also look for someone who stands out extra-curricular wise! Also try and get some work experience where possible, send emails out, ask around, people are generally happy to help for a day or two
