      Its a delicate balancing act! Its important to give young people enough information to understand the basics of the science you’re describing (or even a little bit of it), and also to capture their attention long enough by presenting it in an interesting and exciting way so they feel they want to learn more

      @physicsfan, definitely you need to describe things in an easy to understand and interesting way. It can often be helpful to relate ideas to real life to help people to get what you mean.

      I think it might be good to break into some kind of social media to raise awareness, you’ve got to keep up to date with what young people are interested in. You’ve got to be able to explain it simply but also convey your passion for it!

      I think getting them to do science things that are fun is the best way to get young people interested in science along with little bit of reading/slides . Practical Experiment were the most intriguing things for me when I was young …..
