• Question: Outside of medical physics, what are your other scientific interests?

      Outside physics? Is there such a thing? Haha, only joking…..I’m an aspiring photographer, and I also do a lot of kickboxing competitions. Sometimes its hard to explain why I’ve got black eyes so often!

      My job is a huge part of my life, so outside of it I try and keep a balance, exercising, fundraising, meeting up with friends. Science is such a massive subject, i like to stick to my own area and know as much as I can about it, rather than know a little about a lot.

      I don’t really have any ‘scientific’ interests outside of work. Things i like are playing the flute in an orchestra, playing tennis and doing exercise classes down the gym. I also love good food and so like to cook lovely meals at the weekend for my friends and family.
