• Question: is the daily mail right when they say things like calcium and soup can give you cancer?

      If you doubt about a fact published in the paper you should write to the editor to send you refernce from which they quote the fact; only then believe it. I am not sure I have heard soap to be carcinogenic but some things in soap might be harmful to the body anyway

      I doubt it, papers like the daily mail like to make these kind of claims so people buy their newspapers. While there are certain things in certain food that could cause cancer, they probably need to be eaten in ridiculously huge quantities

      Papers write a lot of things without any scientific backing to them. It’s true though that too much of something is probably not good for you!
