• Question: if you made a time-machine and travelled back to when your parents met and stopped them from meeting would it create a paradox? because then you wouldn't be born so you wouldn't be able to stop them?!

Not really, it would just create an alternate parallel future in which you’re future-self wouldn’t exist.

Very correctly pointed out by Jim……Every second your actions contribute to creation of future and if we travel back in time and change something we will alter one of the realities which most likely already existed ( just that we came from a given reality and did not know about the existence of other realities). Also there is not surety that when we travel back/forward in time we will reach/come back to a specific reality………………………….I know this sounds complicated…so if you do not get it do not think about it for now…learn more physics 😉

We might be in a parallel universe now!!!

That is a good question one theory would state that yes it would create a paradox however, it is recently believed that it would create an alternate reality. This also implies that for every decision we make there is an alternate universe – just imagine you pick a red apple this means there is another universe where you actually picked the green apple – crazy isn’t it?
