Medical Physicists in the NHS follow the Agenda for Change pay scale (you can google this) and generally start at Band 6 (£25K), you can progress up the ladder pretty quickly, until you are the boss of the entire section who is Band 9 (upto £97K)! It’s not the same as being a banker, but pretty comfortable, it’s generally 9-5, and rewarding.
