At a quick guess theres about 100 billion galaxies and each galaxy is about 1 trillion metres across. And its getting bigger all the time. So I reckon its pretty big!

If we multiply our (your/mine/everybody we know) imagination of largest distance by the biggest number you can write on a piece of paper and send a rocket there; it still won’t reach the end of space…….that is my estimate of how big is space….

Absolutely massive! As Jim said there are billions and billons of galaxies in our universe – just imagine there is sooo much to explore! All we need now is a spaceship 😉
