• Question: Have you ever messed with dna

      Sure-we do it all the time. The aim of radiation treatment is to kill cells, and cells are killed by the radiation breaking the DNA at the centre of these cells. This is how tumours shrink with radiation therapy (and chemotherapy)

      I do mess with the DNA but strictly “theoretically” 🙂

      Exactly like Jim says, radiation breaks the bonds in the helix DNA structure which then lease to breakdown of DNA in tumours, but in healthy tissue this should be able to repair itself. So yes, I do this every day!
