Unfortunately yes, I broke my toe and had to wait 4 hours for an X-ray. No special treatment for NHS staff either. A&E rooms are not fun places to be when you’re injured and sick!
Yes! I broke my foot while I was ceilidh dancing, someone stomped on me accidentally with big clumpy shoes and my foot ballooned up like an elephant! I was in a cast and crutches for 3 months! (5th metatarsal, same as David Beckham!)
Fortunately No is the answer ……Fingers crossed….I agree with Jim on his experience as I have been to A&E with a close friend when she got ill; It was a very very bad experience. We had to wait for hours before we could see a doctor and it is very painful to see someone close suffer the ordeal whilst in A&E.
