@saash, when i have just finished a big project or helped to change and improve the services that we provide to patients, definitely yes! A lot of the work that i do is difficult and challenging and so when i reach my goal and have a finished piece of work or a device that is being used; then when i get feedback that the work is good then it’s a massive sense of achievement. The purpose of my job is to help patients through science and innovation and every time i do something that helps towards that, it is very satisfying and rewarding.

I certainly feel a sense of achievement when doing my work as it gives me the potential to improve lives of others. It is more than just sense of achievement…very hard to put down in words though. 🙂

You almost make it sound like an exam question! Yes definitely, I help to treat and diagnose cancer so it feels like a very worthwhile cause and the steps we take are quite significant
