  On a serious note, they are carbon based crystalline structures. Everything in the world decays with time, but some things take a very very very very long time (thousands of years) to decay and diamonds are one of those things. So atleast for our life of 60-100 years they can be called “Forever”

  Kind of – they will decay just like everything else but it will take a very very long time for it to happen
