I think it is an interesting concept that very often comes to life in science fiction movies. However, it is seriously discussed by space agencies as possible way to allow long-distance space travel. In this case they won’t totally freeze people but send them into a koma like sleep for a long time while their body functions are slowed down to a minimum. However, this is mostly all theory at this moment as our technology is limited in this field. I personally think that would be super cool just to go to sleep and wake up on mars but then there is the question what happens while you sleep. Time for everyone else still passes at normal speed that means for some people it seems only a day has passed for others years! crazy crazy 🙂

Weird! Just another way of embalming someone really, with the hope that one day someone will discover a way to resurrect you! I would rather live my life, than decide to end it prematurely then live forever as an old person. But if you’re talking about space travel like Frank, that’d be fun! It’s all theory but one day it might be how we do things!
