We are more than happy to help! Probably the best thing would be to get in touch with someone in Medical Physics at a hospital close to you 🙂

We do take individuals for work experience, but to be able to go into theatre you would need to be 16 or over. It’s probably best to talk to your teachers to see where the nearest hospital is and maybe go there…

Yes, absolutely! Please ask your teacher to contact me via email and I will arrange an invitation. I am organising an event together with NASA at our University where we would be happy to have school classes with us! It is called International Space Apps Challenge 2013 (http://spaceappschallenge.org). We will have lots of cool science stuff to explore! Please contact me! 🙂

Your teacher could arrange a visit to our hospital certainly, but my department would be off limits if you’re under 16 because legally you are not allowed to be exposed to any radiation
